01 — World

Clothing as architecture for a single body.

Brutalist concrete apartment block in Berlin, seen from below
Fragment I

Architecture

Before she designed clothes, Noa Velin studied architecture. To this day, every piece begins with a floor plan.

Fragment II

Sculpture

Volume that leaves the body and returns to it. Fabric as mass, not as a shell.

Fragment III

Material

Few fabrics, chosen precisely. Small editions instead of seasonal overproduction.

Collection 06

Made on night walks through Berlin-Mitte – between concrete, lamplight and silence. Scroll slowly.

  1. Look 01 · NV-06-001

    Coat Halle

A long coat enters the room. The shoulder sits low, the placket disappears. Nothing distracts from the line.

  2. Detail · MAT-01

    Closer

Dense wool cloth, raw-edge finished. Weight that keeps the hem calm – even in motion.

  3. Look 02 · NV-06-007

    Jacket Schacht

Short, angular, closed high. Satin inside – visible only when worn open.

  4. Look 03 · NV-06-004

    Trench Kante

No epaulettes, no decorative buttons. The front edge runs diagonally like a line on a floor plan.

  5. Look 04 · NV-06-012

    Dress Nachtlinie

A single seam holds the dress. In motion the fabric opens; standing still, it becomes a line again.

Material, up close.

Close-ups of the fabrics, labelled like exhibits: what it is, how it is made, how it wears.

    05 — Atelier

    A visit to the studio.

Hamburg, then architecture, then Berlin. Noa Velin studied fashion design, worked for several years in international design studios and founded her own label in 2021.

In the studio in Berlin-Mitte, sketches, patterns and prototypes are made – slowly and in small numbers.
